This Privacy Policy describes how Simplify Ecomm LLC (“Simplify Ecomm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit simplifyecomm.com, request a quote, book a consultation, or engage us for Amazon agency services. We respect your privacy, treat client data with strict confidentiality, and limit data collection to what we genuinely need to operate.
The short version. We collect only what we need to do our work: your contact info, and your business details when you become a client. We do not run third-party tracking or behavioral analytics on this site. We never sell your data. Client account access we receive (Amazon Seller Central, advertising consoles) is held under strict confidentiality and used only to deliver the services you hired us to perform.
1. Who we are
Simplify Ecomm LLC is a boutique Amazon marketplace management agency based in Powell, Tennessee, United States. We help brands set up, optimize, and scale their Amazon presence. You can reach us at hello@simplifyecomm.com with any privacy questions or data requests.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly:
Contact form submissions. Name, email address, company name, phone (if entered), and message content.
Consultation bookings. When you book a call through our Calendly integration, we receive your name, email address, selected time slot, and any notes you add.
Email correspondence. Anything you send us by email is retained for as long as needed to respond and serve you.
Client onboarding information. When you engage us, we collect business details, product information, branding assets, and (with your authorization) limited operational access to platforms such as Amazon Seller Central and advertising consoles.
Information collected automatically:
Server logs. Our hosting provider logs standard request data (IP address, timestamp, user agent, requested URL) for security, abuse prevention, and operational reasons. This data is not used to build user profiles.
Cookies and similar technologies. See “Cookies and tracking” below for what we do and do not use.
We do not run third-party behavioral analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting on this site.
Information from third parties: We do not purchase or enrich your data from third-party data brokers.
3. How we use information
Respond to inquiries. If you contact us or book a call, we use your information to reply, schedule, and follow up.
Provide services. If you become a client, we use your information to deliver the agency services described in your engagement letter or statement of work.
Account management. We use authorized access to client accounts (Amazon Seller Central, advertising platforms, etc.) solely to perform services you hired us for.
Operations and improvement. We use server logs to keep the site running smoothly and to spot security or abuse issues.
Legal compliance. We may use information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or respond to lawful requests.
Direct communications. Occasional emails about your engagement, invoices, and significant service updates. We do not send unsolicited marketing email without prior consent.
4. Client data and confidentiality
When you become a client, we may receive sensitive operational data including Amazon Seller Central credentials, sales reports, financial information, supplier details, and product roadmaps. We treat this information with strict confidentiality:
Access is limited to team members who need it to perform your services.
We do not disclose your business information to other clients or third parties without your consent.
We do not use client data to develop competing products or services.
On request, we will return or destroy client materials after the engagement ends, subject to legal retention requirements.
These commitments are also covered in your signed engagement letter or master services agreement.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the agency, comply with the law, or deliver services. Specifically:
Service providers (subprocessors) who help us operate. These include:
Website hosting and email infrastructure
Calendly (for booking consultations)
Google Workspace (for our business email and document storage)
Accounting and invoicing platforms
Project management and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Notion)
Amazon, when accessing client Seller Central or advertising accounts with permission
Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy commitments. We use established, professional tools.
Legal compliance. If required by valid legal process, we may disclose information to law enforcement or regulators.
Business transitions. If Simplify Ecomm is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any material change.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
6. Cookies and tracking
We keep this minimal. The only cookies and similar technologies present on simplifyecomm.com are:
Strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function (session management, security).
Embedded service cookies from Calendly when you interact with our booking widget. These are governed by Calendly’s own privacy notice and are only set when you actively use the booking flow.
We do not run third-party behavioral advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or analytics that profile visitors. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific privacy rights under California’s CCPA/CPRA, the EU’s GDPR, Tennessee’s TIPA, or other applicable laws. These rights typically include:
Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction. Ask us to fix inaccurate information.
Deletion. Request that we delete information about you, subject to legal retention requirements.
Opt-out of sale or sharing for advertising. We do not sell or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Non-discrimination. We will not deny services or charge different prices for exercising your privacy rights.
Portability. Where applicable, request a portable copy of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@simplifyecomm.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law:
Contact form and prospect data: retained for up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion.
Client records: retained for the length of your engagement plus 7 years for tax, legal, and audit purposes.
Email correspondence: retained according to standard business practices.
Server logs: retained for 30 to 90 days for security and operational purposes, then rotated out.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted communication (HTTPS), restricted internal access, strong authentication, and vendor security commitments. No system is perfectly secure, but we take security seriously, particularly given the sensitive nature of client account access.
10. Children’s privacy
Our services are designed for businesses and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. International users
Simplify Ecomm operates from the United States. If you are visiting from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our website or services, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve or laws change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. We encourage you to review periodically. Significant changes that affect existing clients will be communicated directly.
